This paper is going to demonstrate the various ways digital tools such as GIS (Geographical information system) can contribute to the study of processions, especially in relation to experiencing the liturgical year, approaching medieval emotion spatially and temporally, and understanding the ways the whole landscape transformed throughout the year to a place of worship.
