Whom exactly is being asked to be „accountable“ for what? Is the accountability demanded of political actors the same as the accountability that criminal courts or the International Court of Justice in The Hague strive to achieve? Can these two kinds of „accountability“ be separated, or do they merge with or bleed into one another? Are there yet other ways of construing this concept, from establishing historical accountability for past wrongs to establishing and correcting misbehavior in academic institutions? The panel discussion will address this issue, exploring the multiple, often vigorously debated, meanings of accountability in different legal, political or other circumstances.

Admission starts half an hour before the event, please come early. Due to hygiene rules to contain the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, there may be a wait at the entrance. The following proof is required to attend (proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination and/or of your recovery must be digitally verifiable (QR code)):
- ID card or passport
- A proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination (the last vaccination must be at least 14 days ago) or
- Proof of your recovery (the positive PCR test result is at least 28 days but not more than three months ago or in case of a longer past infection in connection with at least one vaccination against Covid-19) and
- a daily negative test result for an infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (antigen rapid test or PCR test).
- The "2G condition plus test" under Section 9a is amended to require additional testing only for individuals who have not had a booster three months after their second vaccination. Consequently, the additional testing requirement does not apply to
- Boostered persons (for an unlimited period of time),
- freshly vaccinated (including freshly recovered) for three months
- and freshly recovered (including freshly recovered vaccinated) for three months.
