The United Kingdom’s relationship with the European Union has become hotly debated and contentious. Professor Dame Helen Wallace, DBE, CMG, FBA, is the Foreign Secretary of the British Academy. She is a leading expert on the United Kingdom’s relationship with the European Union. She has held academic posts at the London School of Economics, the European University Institute and the University of Sussex.
